LDS Audio Files Now On Google Drive

Alright, alright, so there’s been THOUSANDS of you who have tried to download the LDS Audio files I have uploaded here, and a large portion of you are now getting errors with the zip files. It seems the hosting service or the download process is corrupting the file. Not cool. ┬áDon’t worry though, I think I’ve fixed the problem. I hope.

I have now uploaded all the files to Google Drive and made the files public. You can now download only the specific episodes you want, or the whole folder, or portions of a folder, or even just listen to them online without downloading them. Google is cool like that. There’s two ways to do it:

  1. If you have a google account, click on the links below to bring up the folder containing all the files. Add the folders to your google drive by clicking the “Add to Drive” button (if you’re already logged in). After they’re added to your drive, you can easily download them in groups, batches, or singly, then either leave them in the drive or remove them, your choice.
  2. If you don’t have a google account or don’t want to add them to your google drive, you can still download each file singly or listen to them online.

So here are the links to the folders on Google drive. Please let me know if you still have problems downloading the files:

Roundtable Discussions

Discussions on the Old Testament

Discussions on Isaiah (Insights into Isaiah)

Discussions on Our Savior in the Gospels

Discussions on Acts to Revelation

Discussions on the Book of Mormon

Discussions on the Doctrine and Covenants

Discussions on the Pearl of Great Price

Sped Up Scripture MP3s

Sped Up Book of Mormon

I hope you all enjoy these as much as I have. So far I’ve been able to listen to the discussions on the BoM, PoGP, and D&C, and the Sped Up BoM. I’m almost through with “Our Savior in the Gospels,” and will hit the “Acts to Revelation” section next. I’m definitely learning something new each day on my commute, which is more than I could say when I was just listening to the radio!

I’ve also added the PDF files for the scriptures that I’ve also posted on this site. Here’s the link to that directory:

Wide Margin Scriptures PDFs

Happy studying!

  1. Thanks for providing the files Brad been looking for a way to listen to these on the way to work. The Old Testament link takes you to the Our Savior in the Gospels page everything else worked. Thanks again

  2. Hi Brad, thankyou so much for allowing us to have this treasure trove of knowledge. I am using this here in Australia and will share it around with like minded people.

  3. Brad,

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!

I have some stuff regarding Member Missionary Work, Retention, and Reactivation, because what most of us are doing is not really effective. If you’re interested, Let me know.

  4. Brad,
Thank you so much for making these available! I much prefer to listen to these discussions than to sit and watch them. I can listen on the go or when I’m working about the house. Thank you for your time and effort!

  5. I know others have shared similar sentiments but thank you, thank you, thank you! I too emailed KBYU some time ago but was not offered the rar file. I still listen to the discussions via the internet on my roku device but it’s location dependent. As I travel with my work, I’m always looking for good audio content. What a blessing! BTW, the large margin PDFs were the icing on the cake!

  6. Wow! Thanks so much! Years ago I had given up trying to find a portable version of this, MP3 or MP4 and I stumbled onto your site without even trying.

I watch the series nearly every week online and have the byutv app on my tablet just for this series. I can’t believe that the site admin didn’t have the resources to MP3ise these and post them. Anyway at least they are available now.

It feels like my personal BYU Ancient Scripture class. D Kelly Ogden is a personal hero of mine!

These are so useful. Also useful, are the Hugh Nibley lecture series on the Neal A. Maxwell Institute:

Thank you again, Brad. We who use this site are indebted to you.

  7. Thank you so much!!! I had some of these discussions and I deleted them for space and went back to listen to them and they were off apple’s store. I was disappointed to say the least. I am so thrilled to be able to listen to them again. Thank you again for the work you put into making them accessible and finding a solution when it wasn’t working. I know that this takes a lot of time and effort and it really is appreciated.

  8. Thank you Brad! We are losing all of these programs recorded from the BYU Channel due to an upgrade of satellite equipment tomorrow. We will start recording again but it will take some time to recover all we are losing. Thanks so much, having the audio files is very helpful! We enjoy these discussions and learn so much from them. Thanks again!

  9. Thank you so much for posting these. I’m downloading them right now. Out of curiosity, is the Book of Mormon discussions the first version (with Monte Nyman leading the discussions) or the second version (with Robert Millet usually leading the discussions)?

  10. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! What a treasure! I’m so grateful for this! Bless you for all the time it took to set this up! So grateful!

  11. you are not crazy for putting them online, I used to listen to them and then the disappeared! I am very greatful to you for making them available!
